For award-winning author & travel journalist, Tera Leigh, travel is the rule, rather than the exception. She says, "I found that when I did not travel, my senseof adventure and passion for life dulled. Travel reminds me to live big, and take the chances that lead to the grand experiences of life."

She brings her passion and endless spring of enthusiasm for the places she visits to the Tera-on-Travel radio show where she interviews travel industry insiders from some of her favorite destinations around the United States.

Gordon Johnston escaped to Taos after more than 20 years of employment in luxury hotels. He met his wife Maggie when they were both managers at the flagship Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Buckhead- Atlanta, Georgia. During their courtship they discovered a mutual love of the B&B experience. They decided that owning a bed and breakfast was the only way to provide the level of personal attention and hospitality that they wished their guests to experience.

Little Tree B & B

For the last seven years, they have owned The Little Tree B&B, an intimate, four room adobe hacienda with sweeping 360* mountain, mesa and sunset views, in Taos, New Mexico.

Judi Jordan first came to Taos from New York City in 1992 to attend a writing workshop given by Natalie Goldberg, and 12 years later she started working there. The house is a well-known retreat to artists, writers, photographers, and musicians. Mabel dreamed of starting an art colony in Taos, but the people who came as visitors took the solace and inspiration offered, fulfilled their own needs and then returned to the outside world and their own lives.

Mable Dodge Luhan House

The Mabel Dodge Luhan House continues today, under the administration of the Attiyeh Foundation, as a retreat from the chaos of the everyday world. It has a nurturing, welcoming warmth that is intrinsic to its very walls.

*A NOTE:
If you have a slow connection there are some things we can suggest to make listening easier:

  • Use the files for MAC as these download without streaming and will not pause for long periods while playing. If you choose this approach, be sure to plan your listening ahead so you can allow for a longer wait while the file downloads. Depending on your connection this could be up to an hour. Use a download utility to reduce the download time.

Try helpers such as Download Express or a free one or Getright.

There are many others (free and shareware) at http://www.download.com look for "download helper" or "download manager". These programs can queue up and resume broken downloads even from a dialup and are very useful for downloading in general. In some cases it will even increase the download speed significantly.
