Originally hired as the Bureau’s Olympic Coordinator, Peter was re-assigned as Deputy Director shortly after coming to the Bureau where he oversaw numerous marketing and sales activities until he was appointed President-CEO in May 2003. He serves on several boards to include the Columbus Cultural Arts Alliance, Past President of the Presidential Pathways Travel Association, President of the Georgia Association of Convention & Visitors Bureaus, and serves on the Executive Committee of the Tourism Development Alliance of Georgia.

Kristen Miller Zohn has been appointed Curator of Collections and Exhibitions for the Columbus Museum, Columbus, Georgia. Ms. Zohn has an MA in art history from Florida State University and a BA in Art History from Salem College. Her previous work was with MESDA, Reynolda House Museum of American Art, and Albany Museum of Art in Georgia. For the past five years Ms. Miller Zohn has served as Curator of Education at the Columbus Museum. She was a contributing author for the Museum’s recent publication, American Art in the Columbus Museum: Painting, Sculpture and Decorative Arts (Marquand and Columbus Museum: Seattle and Columbus, 2005). Ms. Miller Zohn was recently elected as Vice President of the Southeastern Museums Conference; she is the youngest museum professional ever to hold this position.

Ron Anderson, Associate Artistic Director of the Springer Opera House, has been a professional actor, stage director and theatre teacher for thirty years. At the Springer, Ron has acted in countless productions and directed many Mainstage, Studio and Children’s Theatre productions. Three of the children’s productions were his own creations, including his stage adaptation of The Little Baby Snoogle-Fleejer by former President Jimmy Carter. Ron is also the founder and director of the Springer Theatre Academy, the State Theatre’s young-actor training program. The Academy has 700 students ages 5-18 and is committed to “teaching Life skills through Stage skills.”

Becky Young is the marketing director for the Columbus Symphony Orchestra (GA) since June 2001. She is one of five staff members of the CSO not including 90 musicians. Becky graduated from Georgia Southwestern University with her BBA in Marketing. She has 14 years experience in marketing and public relations. Becky coordinates all advertising for the CSO that includes design and print of publications, website, creating and producing tv and radio ads, ad print design and making regular appearances on local radio and tv stations. In addition, she coordinates the season and single ticket sales campaign.
