Heather Middleton
Heather Middleton is the Director of Public Relations for the Nashville Convention & Visitors Bureau and has served in that capacity for more than three years. She is responsible for handling media relations for Nashville ’s $3 billion tourism industry. Prior to joining the Nashville CVB, Middleton was an Associate with the Nashville advertising and public relations agency Mercatus Communications. Her primary focus was handling media relations for the firm’s sports and tourism clients. She has also worked in the public relations departments for Warner Bros. Nashville and USA Networks in New York City . Middleton, originally from Indianapolis , moved to Music City from New York more than 9 years ago.

Ellen Pryor
Ellen Jones Pryor is the Frist Center Director of Communications. Ellen Pryor was involved in the earliest days of the creation of the Frist Center , serving as an advisor to the founders. Since the Frist Center opened in April 2001, she has been associated with the organization in a number of capacities and now serves as director of communications.
A resident of Nashville for more than 30 years, in addition to involvement in the arts, her experience includes work in government, tourism, politics, banking, the music industry, music and book publishing, and television and film production. In addition to her involvement in arts-related activities and organizations, she is a trustee of the National Television Academy and serves on the Keyboard of the Blair School of Music at Vanderbilt University .
